Human Remains Found In Trees Off Meadowbrook Parkway Exit On Long Island

Human remains were found in the trees lining a Meadowbrook Parkway exit ramp on Long Island, New York State Police said.

Police said that at approximately 9:38 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 16, road workers discovered a dead body in the tree line of the Meadowbrook State Parkway southbound ramp to M7 West (Babylon Turnpike West) in Roosevelt.

According to police, the body has been covered and is being processed. The M7 ramp was closed as police investigated in the area.

State Police investigators have not released any information regarding the body, and the investigation is ongoing.
